About Us

It's nice to see you here.  Let me tell you a bit about myself.  I'm a licensed clinical psychologist (licensed in Oregon and California) working out of Lake Oswego, Oregon. I see clients virtually and in person. I have worked in hospitals, county mental health settings, correctional facilities, and outpatient clinics.  I have over 15 years of clinical experience and I love working with people who are 

navigating the ups and downs of life to the best of their ability.  Some of us have experienced trauma like abuse or tragedy while some of us are experiencing significant stress and/or pain.  Whatever your challenge is, I'm here to help and support you through it.  I understand how important it is to take care of yourself mentally and physically with therapy being a part of that process.  I know how challenging that can be at times because not only am I a psychologist but I'm also a wife and mother of two boys.

The picture to my left is my 5th grade performance of the Ballet Folclórico of Costa Rica (traditional dance).  I was born in Costa Rica and I spent my entire childhood in Central America (including Guatemala and Mexico).  Because of my upbringing, I am fully bilingual in Spanish/English which helps me provide services for those who are navigating the challenging immigration process.   I completed college and graduate school in the United States but I have worked with immigrants from the beginning and I will continue to do so because it is something I love to do.
